Eskata is the first FDA-approved topical solution made of a high-concentration stabilized hydrogen peroxide designed for in-office application by a physician for the treatment of Seborrheic Keratoses (SK).

SK’s tend to develop in middle age or older and increase in number over time. Though not life threatening, raised Seborrheic Keratoses can make you feel self-conscious.  They can be seen almost anywhere on the skin, but favor the chest, back, head and neck.  The raised aged spots have a warty surface and can range in color from skin tone to black.

Most lesions require a single session where Eskata is applied to the lesions 4 times, approximately 1 minute apart.  The product can be applied to up to 5 lesions during a 20 minute appointment.  A follow-up appointment will be scheduled approximately 3 weeks after the treatment.  The patient may choose to have a second treatment if any of the treated lesions have not completely cleared.

Eskata is not covered by insurance it is a self-pay treatment.
